Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
